Virtual Infrastructure

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) a variation on the client/server computing model. It involves hosting a desktop operating system within a virtual machine (VM) that runs on a centralized server. VDI is a variation on the client/server computing model. The centralized server can be remotely hosted and accessed on the internet.

With increased globalization of business, many enterprises have branches spread across the globe and several associates in travel or transit. Virtualization helps the employee access his/her data and a 'desktop interface' that is hosted on a central server, as against a physical machine that belongs to him/her. This makes it easy to access data and compute, from anywhere, anytime and using any device of choice.

Needless to say, Virtualization helps an organization become more efficient, more agile, reduce the complexity and cost of IT Infrastructure and maximize ROI from the same. Datatech is the ideal virtualization partner for SMEs and enterprises. We engage with clients right from the inception stage itself which involves creating awareness among key stakeholders in the organization about the trends and benefits of virtualization. We will then design the most optimum, scalable, robust, secure and always-on virtual infrastructure solution. The solution will lay the foundation for adopting the right technology for the future, as well as the cloud strategy for the organization.
